Grape Variety : Gewurztraminer
The Gewurzt de Manon are located on the top of the hillside of Avolsheim, a limestone soil with exposure to the South. The upper part of the plot reaches the top of the hill. The limestone is exposed. The air there is a little fresher than at the bottom of the slope. The soil is thin and stony. It is harvested approximately 10 days after the end of the grape harvest, producing a Gewürztraminer with remarkable character.
In the lineage of previous vintages, it seduces with its richness and elegance. The nose evokes flavours of spices and roses as well as overripe notes of honey and exotic fruits. The palate is long and fine, supported by a nice roundness and it finishes with a pleasant freshness.
